Suite Bardiglio, at Loggiato Verga, is one of three luxurious units to emerge from the extensive restoration of the palace, begun in 2022. It’s located on the first floor – with no lift, as is typical of 18th-century noble buildings – of Palazzo Bonanno di Linguaglossa, one of the most majestic and iconic baroque palaces in Ortigia, dating back to 1700.
It measures about 55 sqm and stands out for its dual exposure with private balconies, offering enchanting views and abundant natural light, and for its use of fine materials for the floors and finishes, and for its furnishings, made up of Italian design pieces and custom-made furniture.
The suite is connected to the Loggiato via a corridor: a covered private space of about 25 sqm overlooking the baroque inner courtyard, shared with the property’s other guests (the other two suites).
The spacious bathroom has walls clad in Bardiglio marble and features a shower and a bathtub: a corner of elegance, privacy and maximum comfort.
The room has a king-size bed; the same room also has a double sofa bed. Since there is no separate second bedroom, the suite is ideal for a couple with one child, and we recommend against sharing the room between guests who are not part of the same family.
